Thank you to all the participants who have registered this year.
At the Bon Ton Roulet you will have the opportunity to enjoy the splendor of the unique Upstate New York Region, known as the Finger Lakes. Take in the area’s landmark vineyards and wineries, hills and picturesque waterways as you ride at your own quiet, unhurried pace. As you travel along the designated route, you will find a serenity between yourself and the 350-mile endeavor that lies ahead. Stops along the way allow for a snack or meal, drinks, or the opportunity to tour a winery or historic site. We want you to have fun! So why not take a dip at one of the regions many swimming holes along the way, or take in the nightly entertainment provided by the Bon Ton Roulet Committee and its participating towns and villages. Or, maybe just sit with a new friend. At the beginning and end of each day’s ride, enjoy a wholesome and nutritious meal courtesy of the host community and the Bon Ton Roulet Committee. As for your evening stay, you may choose to set up camp at a selected college or high school within the particular community, or just stay at a local motel, hotel or B&B. A list of alternative lodging choices will be provided to you. Trucks will transport your gear each morning to that evening’s campsite. In 2010 Because of the popularity of the new long route, short route option, the BonTon Roulet Committee will continue offering this choice. There will be two fully supported routes each day except the last day. There is no need to sign up for the shorter or longer option — each day riders choose which option they prefer. Is sight-seeing your thing? The shorter option will provide more time to visit all the things the Finger Lakes has to offer such as wineries, museums, swimming holes, waterfalls and gorges. The longer route will provide more time on your bike and probably more hills and scenery. How to contact us:
